Maiken (1991) specializes in corporate income tax, dividend withholding tax and international tax law. In addition, Maiken has gained experience in M&A (due diligence, structuring and SPA).
In September 2022, Maiken joined VanLoman.
Maiken started her professional career at Deloitte where she advised national and international companies with respect to corporate income tax, dividend withholding tax and international tax law. In 2021 Maiken joined the Ministry of Finance as a senior policy advisor with respect to legal and fiscal matters.
Maiken graduated from Leiden University in 2018 with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in tax law.
During her study, she interned at PwC’s corporate real estate practice, the tax departments of Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Deloitte’s international advisory and transfer pricing practice.
