At VanLoman, Joël primarily focuses on tax advisory services for high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs (DGA’s), and family-owned businesses. Her expertise and interest lies in structuring the transfer of wealth to the next generation (estate planning and business succession planning), establishing privacy structures, advising on acquisitions and divestments of assets, as well as optimizing both personal and corporate tax positions of the client. She provides advice in both purely domestic matters and cases involving international tax aspects.
As an advisor, Joël offers personal and dedicated support to entrepreneurs, wealthy individuals and their families. She is closely involved in the various phases of the life cycle of both the entrepreneur, their business and the family, with a keen eye for aligning personal goals, business interests, and family dynamics within the broader fiscal framework.
In addition to her advisory work, Joël regularly gives presentations and knowledge sessions to keep clients and stakeholders informed about fiscal developments and their potential impact.
Joël graduated in 2017 from the University of Amsterdam with a bachelor’s degree in Tax Law and a master’s degree in International & European Tax Law. She began her career in the international tax practice at Loyens & Loeff and in the general tax practice at Taxwise Lawyers & Tax Advisors.
Since June 2017, Joël has been working as a tax advisor at VanLoman.
