Melvin Troost (1997) is a tax consultant focusing on wage taxes and structuring management and employee participation schemes for both national and international clients. Melvin is involved in advising on the consequences of wage taxes for employers and employees in the design of remuneration policies, restructurings, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and social security-related matters.
Melvin graduated cum laude from the University of Amsterdam in 2023 with a master’s degree in International and European Tax Law, with an additional specialisation in wage tax. After graduating, he started his carreer at KPMG Meijburg & Co’s People Services department, where he advised various large and medium-sized companies on Dutch wage taxes in both a national and international context. Melvin has also published articles on earn-outs and transaction bonuses in renowned tax literature. Melvin joined VanLoman in April 2025.
